Volvo vs. 13% och en f.d. talman.

Hej, jag hade inte tänkt att skriva något om Volvos nya reklamfilm men inatt så fick jag länken till filmen i ett mail från en gammal kompis från Olofström, helt utan kommentar. Om Volvo är stort I Göteborg så är det ingenting mot hur stor betydelse de har,  som största arbetsgivare, i Olofström. Så jag tittar på reklamfilmen, med den dolda uppmaningen, gör ditt jobb, recensera filmen, för det här är viktigt!

Mitt första intryck av del 3 i ”Made by Sweden” kampanjen (kanske borde man säga del 4 för kampanjen med Swedish House Mafia var ju iaf ett embryo till det vi nu ser) är att det återigen är mästerligt producerat och vackert, dessutom har låten ”Vintersaga” fått sig en rejäl touch av 2015, jag blir nyfiken och tittar igen.

I mitt första blogginlägg om Volvofilmen med Zlatan så hyllade jag kreatörerna för avslutningen ”Made by Sweden” som för mig blev oerhört gränsöverskridande i frågan om vad eller vem som är svensk. Den andra filmen med Robyn, som jag inte fångades av på samma sätt, så tyckte jag ändå, om det var medvetet eller omedvetet gjort, att man förstorade begreppet ”Made by Sweden” genom att även låta det innehålla friheten att älska vem man vill. Och nu tar man definitivt nästa steg…

…ett stort steg. För nu har Volvo, ett av vårt lands största företag, proklamerat sin syn på vad Sverige är, eller bör vara, för valet av kändisar kan inte vara en slump. 

När Sveriges f.d. talman Per Westerberg (M) bojkottar Jason ”Timbuktu" Diakité väljer Volvo att hylla honom som representant för södra Sverige. Norra Sveriges representant, Börje Salming, byn Salmi´s stora stjärna och representant för vår ursprungsbefolkning, hade inte ens bilväg förrän isen lade sig på Torne träsk, men tog hela Toronto med storm och hyllas väl fortfarande där som ”The King”. Här hemma är väl machomannen mest aktuell som kalsongleverantör och för sina verbala smockor mot riksdagens andre vice talman Björn Söder (SD).

Inte heller Emma Gren är där av en slump, förutom att hon är en ypperlig idrottare i världsklass så visade västkustens representant sitt ställningstagande mot Rysslands antihomolag genom att måla naglarna i regnbågsfärger; –Kärlek till en annan människa kan inte vara fel på något sätt, var hennes egen kommentar.

Så över till gotländska Carin Rodebjer, östkustens representant i filmen, som i min första tanke känns som en lättviktare i sammanhanget, men efter en stunds funderande förstår jag att den flerfaldigt internationellt belönade designern, bosatt i New York, är en bra symbol för ett modernt Sverige, där vår gemensamma plattform, med stolthet, inte blyghet, ska ta plats i en global arena.

Volvo har helt enkelt breddat sitt ledord säkerhet, för att i dåtid handla om bilens säkerhetstänk, till att i nutid också vara en kraft för att människor ska uppleva säkerhet i sitt leverne oavsett ursprung och sexuell läggning. Stort!

Men huvudstadens representant då? Ja, jag vet inte om det egentligen är tanken att det ska finnas någon när man nu speglar vårt land med norr, söder, väst och öst, men han finns där, Oskar Linnros ifrån Stockholm har producerat om Ted Ströms gamla låt ”Vintersaga” då, 1984, framförd av Monica Törnell, nu framförd av Amanda Bergman som föddes 3 år efter första versionen av ”Vintersaga” släpptes. Möjligt att jag överanalyserar, men är detta kanske ett sätt att, utöver viljan att förena vårt land geografiskt, också förena de olika generationerna?

Hur som helst, jag tycker att det här är ett stort och modigt av Volvo och alla inblandade, och jag tror att det kommer att sälja ytterligare bilar, men mest av allt hoppas jag att fler företag och organisationer tar sitt ansvar för de strömningar vi har i vårt land och världen.

PS: När jag skrev om Zlatan var det flera som idiotförklarade mitt intresse för filmen och den vettlösa satsningen från Volvos sida som absolut inte skulle leda till någon ökad bilförsäljning. Jag hoppas att dessa människor, innan de mailar mig igen, snackar med de 1.300 som är nyanställda på Volvos fabrik i Torslanda.
