Då var det dags. Jag skulle bli jobbskuggad. Herregud. Jag? Jobbskuggad? Följa mig en hel dag? Ja herre gud, hur ska detta gå?

Jag tänkte först att jag skulle försöka få till en ”rolig” dag med kundbesök, lunchmöte, lite fler möten, fika o ja…? Typ så. Men hur gick det? Njaeee, va ska man säga..? Dagen började med ett snabbt hej, (Linnea fick en grundlig rundtur av min käre far i våra lokaler innan jag kom, de var liiiiiiiite tidiga, jag som vanligt smet in ett par korta minuter innan utsatt tid) sedan direkt in på möte. Rekryteringar. Planer framåt, tankar om det gångna året… Hur ser behovet ut..? Ja ni vet. Starten blev inte riktigt som jag önskat, tänkte ju ett par tre kaffe, prata om livet, företag, jobb i stort. Drömmar. Jag gillar drömmar. Men nej, inget av det de första timmarna.

Sen tillslut fick vi en stund över. Då, minsann hann vi prata. Om livet, drömmar, arbete, utmaningar, lärda läxor… Väldigt roligt. Jag hade många gånger önskat att det fanns en bok att följa. Typ gör såhär så blir det bra. Men det finns inte, vilket jag försöker förmedla så fort jag får chansen. För mig är det viktigt att säga att det inte finns några rätt eller fel vägar när det gäller jobb och karriär. Jag har inte särskilt många rätt på den vanliga banan. Inte någon utbildning (jo visst IHM marknadsekonom, men det har jag pluggat samtidigt som Concept funnits) inte jobbat mig upp i en organisation, inte många års erfarenhet, brinnande intresse… Ja ni förstår) Dessutom har jag valt en väldigt mansdominerad bransch. Det sistnämnda är något jag valt att se som positivt. Enbart positivt. Jag tror att man till viss del kan välja sina tankar, men att se detta som positivt har faktiskt inte varit någon större utmaning. Jag menar, i hur många producerande industrier finns det många kvinnor? Rätt eller fel, men för mig har det varit en fördel. Att komma in på företag där majoriteten av de anställda är killar, gör att en blond, ung tjej syns. Jag behöver inte ens en kort kjol eller höga klackar…………….. Allt i marknadsföring handlar om att synas. Jag har synts. Plus för mig, och plus för Concept. Plus på sista raden, och visst är det i slutändan det som räknas? Eller?

Hur som helst, efter detta stack vi iväg på lunch, för att sedan skynda oss tillbaka till en offertgenomgång. Vi har det som rutin att gå igenom nya kunder alt ordrar över en viss summa. Stackars Linnea. Diskussioner om tekniska lösningar, flöden, kundens krav… Ett stort projekt kräver grundliga genomgångar. Jag kan inget tekniskt, så det är oftast Jens som är ansvarig för konstruktion, Johan som styr el och programmering, Mathias som är ansvarig för tillverkning och montage samt min älskade pappa som agerar den galne teknikern och storsäljaren som ska säga sitt utifrån mitt utkast. Utan dessa personer hade inte Concept varit ens hälften av vad vi är. Jag har sagt det innan men det tåls att sägas igen. Att driva företag är största graden av lagsport och samarbete.

Efter mötet hade jag några uppgifter som var tvungna att bli klara. En av dem var att få ut en annons för en ny montör. Alla våra tidigare annonser har jag skrivit och jag tänkte att det kunde vara bra med lite ny input. Linnea fick uppdraget att skriva ihop en annons, vilken blev så himla bra att det är den som ligger ute nu. Grym tjej det där.

Sedan var det dags för avslutning. Vi satte oss i bilen och åkte in till Valentin&Byhr. Jag fylld av dåligt samvete för att jag inte gjort något roligare av dagen, för att den var så vanlig… När vi väl var framme kom ju frågorna… Vad har ni gjort idag? Hur var det? Oh herre… Men Linnea, denna fantastiska tjej (ja ni på telia behöver veta vilken tjej ni anställt) hade så mycket bra att säga. I denna för mig, vardag, hittade hon mängder av saker att fokusera på, lära av. Lära av mig..? Mmm visst låter det konstigt, men sant. Sedan fick vi gå upp var och en av oss ”jobbskuggspar” på scen för intervjuv. Det var jag, Charles Sinclair från Oddwork, Tomas Nilsson från SEB, Maria Källsson från Valentin&Byhr, Lena Apler från Collector samt Dennis Andersson, BK Häcken och Gothia Cup. Vilket gäng.

Jag är så fruktansvärt tacksam och stolt över de här möjligheterna jag får. Varje dag lär jag mig nya saker, hittar nya mål och drömmar. För mig är det väldigt viktigt att ha mål, och framförallt drömmar. För, har man ingen dröm eller inget mål, kommer man inte komma någonstans. En dröm för mig är att kunna inspirera andra, att våga. Man behöver inte ha allt rätt på pappret, men med rätt inställning och mod att hoppa på de möjligheter man får, kommer man oerhört långt. Till det skall också läggas en hel massa arbete, en del magont och tårar, men i efterhand är det värt precis all möda. Och, drömmar är till för att förverkligas.

Tack Linnea för en oerhört lärorik dag, jag hoppas du fick ut lika mycket av den som jag. Och tack UF Alumni för ett väldigt fint initiativ. Ert arbete är viktigt. Det finns inga rätt eller fel, bara en massa duktiga människor med en dröm. Det är viktigt för oss alla att förvalta dem. Om jag på minsta sätt kan bidra, så gör jag det med stolthet.
